Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, created through advanced scientific processes that replicate the conditions under which diamonds form in nature. They share the same chemical structure, optical performance, and brilliance as mined diamonds — distinguished only by origin. Precisely cultivated in controlled environments, they offer the same physical and visual properties without reliance on extraction.

Are lab grown diamonds eco-friendly? Conflict-free?
Lab-grown diamonds are widely regarded as conflict-free, as they are produced in controlled environments rather than sourced from regions historically associated with labor or geopolitical issues.
They are often considered to have a lower environmental impact than mined diamonds, particularly in terms of land disturbance and ecosystem disruption. That said, their footprint can vary depending on production methods and energy sources, and outcomes differ by producer.

How are lab-grown diamonds created?
Lab-grown diamonds are created using two primary processes: HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) and CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). HPHT recreates the extreme heat and pressure found deep within the earth, compressing carbon into diamond form. CVD, by contrast, grows diamonds in a controlled chamber where carbon is introduced as a gas and builds gradually on a diamond seed, layer by layer. While both methods produce real diamonds with the same physical properties as mined stones, CVD allows for greater precision, consistency, and control throughout the growth process. At SPKTRL, only diamonds grown using the CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) process are selected — reflecting its alignment with the most technologically advanced, precise, and controllable method of diamond creation.

SPKTRL light rings are MADE IN FRANCE. Crafted with both generational and latest cuttingedge technologies, it embodies SPKTRL’s commitment to build the products that last. Your ring is a functional object, to improve your ring’s lifespan, please take into account the following considerations: as a technologically augmented product, your ring will perform differently depending on the levels of use, unique to each wearer. Protect your ring from external shocks as this can serverely impact the functionality. Please remove it while performing stenuous physical activities and sports (swimming, golf, lifting heavy weights). Avoid contact with water. Exposure to extrem temeratures may cause dysfunctions. To clean your ring, simply polish it with a soft, dry cloth. The lifespan of the ring will depend on frequency of use and wear. Store your product in the box provided at purchase or in a cool, dry place away from dust, moisture, extreme temperature).

Our standard manufacturing timeline is approximately 9 to 11 months. However, as we introduce this new product category, we are dedicating exceptional care to the development of the inaugural items. This first edition serves as the foundation of our commitment to excellence in fine jewelry technologies ensuring that every detail is perfected to the highest standards.

Each item undergoes an intricate process of refinement and rigorous quality control. As a result, lead times may be subject to adjustments. While we take the necessary time to perfect every detail, we remain dedicated to timely delivery and will keep you informed should any adjustments be required. Should any modifications occur, we will keep you informed at every stage, ensuring full transparency as we bring your SPKTRL LIGHT ring to life.

Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total order value is charged at checkout to confirm your pre-order. This payment is required to initiate production and secure your item.

Once the product is ready to be shipped, the remaining balance will be charged to your original payment method. You will receive an email notification before the final charge is processed, informing you that your order is ready to be shipped. The remaining balance will include any shipping fees, taxes and/or duties (when applicable). If the final payment fails, we will contact you to update your payment details. You will have a limited time to complete the payment, or your pre-order may be cancelled, and the deposit may not be refundable.

Yes - in some cases, changes are possible before your order enters production.

We invite you to visit our Customer Care section to explore the options available for your pre-order. Once the manufacturing process has begun, certain elements may no longer be adjustable due to the limited-edition nature of our production runs.

If you’re unsure about the status of your order or what modifications may still be available, our team will be happy to guide you.

You may request a full refund to your original method of payment within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

After this 14-day period, refunds may no longer be available, particularly once the order has progressed into production.

Shipping & Delivery

For Edition 01 pre-orders, standard shipping is complimentary via our selected premium carriers.

Shipping options and delivery details will be shared before your order ships, when the remaining balance is due, and confirmed in your order notification.

If you choose to return your order, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.

We do not ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. For international orders, first-time purchases must be shipped to the billing address associated with the payment method.

Edition 01 orders will be shipped once production is complete to selected European countries and the United States. Additional destinations may be added prior to the Edition 01 shipping batch at SPKTRL’s discretion.

For European deliveries, prices are shown inclusive of VAT.
For U.S. deliveries, orders will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), with shipping and import duties included at checkout.

Any local, state, or regional taxes, fees, or charges imposed by authorities at destination remain the responsibility of the client.

Final shipping destinations, options, and delivery details will be confirmed prior to dispatch.

Returns

Items purchased on spktrl-paris.com are eligible for return provided that they are returned within 14 days of the item’s original ship date in new, unused, unworn, unaltered, and undamaged condition, with all original accessories and packaging unaltered.

Once received, your return or exchange may take five to seven business days to confirm its pristine condition with our quality control inspection process.

All returns must originate within the country of purchase. Refunds will return to your original method of payment. Please be aware that we cannot refund import duties or taxes on international deliveries.

Returns are accepted at the sole discretion of spktrl-paris.com. Items that are deemed not to meet one or more eligibility criteria outlined above and below will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Personalized, altered, or engraved items are not eligible for return or exchange. Certain limited edition items may be ineligible for a refund.

SPKTRL items eligible for return or exchange must be in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place, tags, stickers attached to them in the original packaging. SPKTRL will not accept any return if the item shows sign of wear, has been used, or has been altered from its original condition in any way.

Engraved, embossed, personalized, special order, or made-to-order items cannot be returned to SPKTRL for exchange or refund.

Our Returns Portal will be made available once products are ready to ship and dispatch has begun.

Before production begins, limited changes to a pre-order may be available and can be explored via our Customer Care section. Once manufacturing is underway, modification options become restricted due to the limited-edition nature of production.
